The Center for the Advancement of Primary Care Physicians offers a comprehensive educational experience designed to prepare IMGs for excellence in primary care and residency training in the U.S.

The program combines course work, hands-on learning, mentorship and professional networking for the next generation of primary care physicians. We focus on teaching the core competencies and milestones set forth by The American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) which sets the standards for U.S. residency training. 

We provide a structured curriculum that balances core lectures, practical assignments, interactive discussions, and outpatient clinical exposure.

Students will participate in daily lectures led by physicians and guest experts covering a wide range of topics:

• Clinical reasoning

• Systems based practice

• Communication skills

• Interpretation of medical literature

Assignments are designed to strengthen analytical and writing skills through case reports and literature reviews. Interactive sessions focus on practical skill building such as bedside physical exams and clinical presentation skills.

Finally, the program will provide mentorship and networking sessions with physicians and healthcare leaders as well as collaboration with current IMGs in U.S. residency. Upon successful completion of our program, students will be awarded a certificate and letter of recommendation for their application to U.S. residency.
